A powerful undersea earthquake near Alaska triggers a tsunami alert, sending shockwaves through coastal communities.

Tsunami waves as high as 20+ feet were recorded in remote areas — with the force to uproot anything in their path.

Coastal towns like Kodiak, Anchorage, and Seward were on high alert as emergency sirens blared through the night.

The NOAA and USGS issued rapid alerts urging evacuations, triggering sirens, and deploying early response systems.

Residents raced to higher ground, grabbing essentials as tsunami evacuation routes came into effect.

Surreal scenes of rising waters, boats tossed like toys, and flooded streets took over Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube

Shockwaves and water surges reached parts of Hawaii, British Columbia, and even triggered global monitoring.

Experts say a mega-thrust fault line deep under the sea was the main source  raising concerns about future risks.
